VIDEO: CAUGHT ON TAPE—Gregg Garner & Adam Loeffler Financial Meeting
🗂️ FROM THE ARCHIVES: What follows is a video recording of a meeting held at 401 Center St, Old Hickory, TN (GOD compound/headquarters) on January 28th, 2017.
In this video, Gregg Garner (now former CEO) and Adam Loeffler (current interim CEO) discuss how to “get creative” with the way money flows between their for-profit businesses and the nonprofit entity. They talk about GOD members having a “donative responsibility,” and how “people forget to donate” (because they can’t forcibly collect and hold funds from salaries).
They go on to discuss an IRS audit they were subject to and instruct members that the day of the audit (February 16th, 2017) was to be a “totally different day.” A day where there would be “no business opportunity” and how everyone needed to be fully in “nonprofit mode.”
Further on, they express how (via the audit) the US government is asking the question: “Are you a non-profit?” And Gregg goes on to say that “a bunch of people working for free” is a prime example of GOD being a nonprofit, and how “we don’t want to confuse them [the government] with our complicated paradigm.”
Later, discussing the strategy around how their for-profit businesses can only give up to 50% of their profits to a nonprofit entity, Gregg goes on to say, “we’re always trying to maximize how much that could be by expensing things creatively.”
*gasp* This couldn’t possibly be MONEY LAUNDERING and/or FRAUD, could it??? 👀👀👀
