Who is
Gregg Garner?

[the Founder of Global Outreach
Developments, International]

The narrative he spins.

“Skilled professional and innovative idea-architect that develops organizational systems based on his knowledge of the word of God, with over 25 years of experience in business and nonprofit management, including associate and senior roles in the pastorate.”

The reality.

Despite the many credentials and accolades he claims on his personal website and other platforms (some of which are allegedly false), he has been investigated by the TBI (Tennessee Bureau of Investigation) and was subsequently charged with two felonies. These charges were dismissed in court on July 28, 2022.

Watch our Hotline update to understand why the dismissal of these two charges has no impact on our mission of exposing the truth behind GOD Int’l and the ongoing abuse of power by Gregg Garner, the leader of this high-control group.

Many innocent folks have been caught up in his intricate web of manipulation and lies. Some have escaped and are now confronting the traumas they experienced under his “leadership”.

We seek to bring the truth to light, and collectively heal.

After speaking with dozens of ex-members and affiliates, the following four descriptors emerged as a common thread in describing their opinions of him:

Narcissist

A mental condition in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for excessive attention and admiration, troubled relationships, and a lack of empathy for others.

But behind this mask of extreme confidence lies a fragile self-esteem that's vulnerable to the slightest criticism.

Sociopath

They’ll often break rules or make impulsive decisions without feeling guilty for the harm they cause.

May also use “mind games” to control friends, family members, co-workers, and even strangers. They may also be perceived as charismatic or charming.

Liar

Some lies seem to be told in order to make the pathological liar appear the hero, or to gain acceptance or sympathy, while there’s seemingly nothing to be gained from other lies.

May result from a mental condition, such as antisocial personality disorder (sometimes called sociopathy).

Manipulator

Master manipulators are Machiavellians, or “High Machs”.

Low Machs prefer not to deceive and manipulate, except when they perceive such behavior to be justified or necessary. Conversely, High Machs are temperamentally predisposed to be master manipulators. Intrigue is the air they breathe, and they enjoy it.

Quotes from personal experiences:

“We were the chosen few and Gregg was our fearless leader — a prophet. It was all a scam.”

— Ex-Member of G.O.D.

“The entire ministry has morphed over time into a giant money-making scheme in which Gregg is the puppet-master and victor.”

— Ex-Member of G.O.D.

What’s it
gonna be?

“A consistent characteristic of Garner’s is the penchant for changing his mind. Before he was married, he said he wanted to impress God with his celibacy. The couple eventually had five children: Genesis Nicole, Justice Tsedeq, Xavier Qodesh, Malayah Alexia Karise and India Adele Phoenix.

He said he and his wife decided they were going to be missionaries in Kenya. But in 2000, they moved to Nashville.”

— Meyer, H. and Sharon, K. (2021, March 25). Global Outreach Developments founder Gregg Garner and his wife indicted on TennCare fraud charges. Tennessean

“Gregg surrounds himself with people who naively start out looking to do something good... He incorporates them into his web and incriminates them so they're stuck in that system (working 80 hour weeks and accepting poverty wages so they can qualify for food stamps - that's fraud). He started a school (which our kids went to for awhile) to make sure the children in the community don't have any actual skills that would allow them to function in the outside world, so they'll be stuck in the G.O.D. cult. He's legitimately a genius, and legitimately evil.”

— Parent of a former Academy for GOD student

“Gregg is a narcissistic sociopath. He is a liar, a masterful manipulator and a cheat. He has defrauded his followers out of countless money, time and work. I honestly believe the people in the community have been brainwashed to serve his selfish goals.”

— Ex-Member of G.O.D.

“We were trained to respond to people on the outside. Because they just wouldn’t understand, and we were the ones [that were] going to bring the Kingdom of God to earth. We were God’s people and no one in the world was doing what we were doing.

So we thought.

It’s hard for me to see his face. It’s hard for me to think about what he has done and [is] doing. It’s worse than people understand.”

— Ex-Member of G.O.D.
